Control centre

The Control Centre at Savske elektrarne began operating in 2008. Equipped and staffed for the optimization of the operation of the hydroelectric power plant (HPP) chain and remote control of all HPPs on the Sava River. It represents the co-location of the GEN control centre and exemplifies collaborative operations within the group. This means that the control centre ensures the optimal production of all power plants in the group and operation optimization. This ensures a quick response to potential changes in the operation of power plants and the adaptation of electricity production to market conditions and customer needs. In addition, the control centre also ensures the safety and reliability of power plant operations. The last update of the control centre occurred in 2019, and another one is planned for 2024.
